In an effort to equip future doctorate students with valuable skills in the fields of Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP), I conducted a hands-on training course at the University of Vigo. This course was designed to be practical and accessible, providing participants with a strong foundation in Deep Learning.
The course primarily was remote for atlanTTIc and focused on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), with a practical approach that utilized Google Colab and Python. Through this training, participants gained hands-on experience in both Computer Vision and NLP, paving the way for practical applications in these domains.
My aim was to introduce aspiring doctoral candidates to the world of Deep Learning in a practical and engaging manner. By providing them with the tools and knowledge to work with CNNs and tackle real-world challenges, I hoped to inspire their future research endeavors.
